Over the past two months, I’ve been putting a concerted effort into growing my creative practice and business in ways that make me uncomfortable.

There’s been disappointment and lots of magic just over the past few weeks alone by getting more clear with myself on what I’m trying to build.

Still, the disappointments and rejection recently have stung!

I’ll be honest: in the past, my disappointment in myself and my ā€œslow progressā€ would have wrecked me. I’d spiral into self-doubt, obsess over every detail, or tell myself I wasn’t cut out for creative work.

But now, instead of letting disappointment take me down for days (or weeks), I give myself 20 minutes to move through it.
